Teriyaki rooster that’s so simple as throwing all the pieces into the sluggish cooker within the morning and it’s able to go in 5 minutes of effort if you get house at night time!

components
  • 1 pound boneless and skinless rooster breasts or thighs
  • 1 onion, sliced or diced
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced/grated
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced/grated
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce (gluten-free for gluten-free)
  • 2 tablespoon sake (optionally available)
  • 2 tablespoon mirin (optionally available)
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar (optionally available)
  • 1/2 cup water (or rooster broth (hyperlink))
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil (optionally available)
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds (optionally available)
  • 4 inexperienced onions, thinly sliced (optionally available)
instructions
  1. Place the rooster and onion in a sluggish cooker and pour over the combination of the garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sake, mirin, sugar, vinegar, and water and prepare dinner on LOW for 8-10 hours or on HIGH for 3-4 hours.
