Hen Gnocchi in a Creamy Tomato Sauce

Hen and pillowy potato gnocchi in a tasty tomato sauce!
substances
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (or sun-dried tomato oil)
- 1 pound boneless skinless rooster breasts or thighs, lower into chew sized items
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 tablespoon tomato paste (non-compulsory)
- 1/2 teaspoon purple pepper flakes (non-compulsory)
- 1/2 teaspoon floor fennel seeds (non-compulsory)
- 2 cups rooster broth (hyperlink) (or water)
- 1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, thinly sliced (non-compulsory)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (hyperlink) (or oregano)
- 1 pound gnocchi (hyperlink) (gluten-free for gluten-free)
- 1/2 cup heavy/whipping cream (or bitter cream, or 4 ounces cream cheese)
- 1/4 cup parmigiano reggiano (parmesan cheese), grated
- 4 ounces child spinach (non-compulsory)
- salt & pepper to style
- 1 tablespoon parsley (or basil), chopped (non-compulsory)
instructions
- Warmth the oil in a big skillet/pan over medium-high warmth, add the rooster and onion and prepare dinner, till the rooster is cooked, about 7-10 minutes.
- Add the garlic, tomato paste, purple pepper flakes, and fennel seeds, combine and prepare dinner for a minute.
- Add the broth, diced tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and gnocchi, convey to a boil, scale back the warmth and simmer till the gnocchi is tender, about 5-10 minutes.
- Flip off the warmth, add the cream and cheese, combine, and let the cheese soften into the sauce.
- Add the spinach, combine and let it wilt.
- Season with salt and pepper to style, combine within the parsley and luxuriate in!
Possibility: Season your rooster together with your favorite seasoning, I like: 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon (smoked) paprika, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Possibility: Add greens corresponding to diced bell peppers, peas, carrots, and so on.
