
Hen and Dumpling Soup

- 6 cups hen broth (hyperlink)
- 1 pound boneless and skinless hen breasts or thighs
- 1/2 cup heavy/whipping cream (elective)
- 1/4 cup parmigiano reggiano (parmesan cheese), grated (elective)
- 1 cup peas (recent or frozen)
- salt and pepper to style
- 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped (elective)
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (gluten-free for gluten-free)
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- pepper to style
- 1 tablespoon chopped recent sage
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3/4 cup buttermilk

- Soften the butter in a big saucepan over medium warmth, add the onion, carrot, and celery, and prepare dinner till tender, about 10-Quarter-hour.
