All the flavours of cheeseburgers in a creamy mac and cheese!

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (gluten-free for gluten-free)
  • 2 cups milk (or broth)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • For the burger Mac:
  • 6 ounces bacon, sliced
  • 1 pound floor beef
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne (non-obligatory)
  • 1 tablespoon steak seasoning (hyperlink)
  • 2 1/2 cups beef broth (or water)
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 8 ounces pasta (comparable to macaroni) (gluten-free for gluten-free)

  1. Soften the butter in a saucepan over medium warmth till it’s frothy and the butter simply begins to flippantly brown.
  2. Sprinkle within the flour and let it simmer for a minute.
  3. Add the milk, stirring, carry to a simmer, and cook dinner till the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the cheese and let it soften into the sauce, stirring.
  5. For the burger Mac:
  6. Cook dinner the bacon in a big saucepan over medium warmth, and put aside.
  7. Add the meat and cook dinner, breaking it aside because it cooks, about 10 minutes, earlier than draining off any extra grease.
  8. Add the onion and cook dinner till tender, about 5 minutes.
  9. Add the garlic, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne, and steak seasoning, combine and cook dinner till aromatic, a couple of minute.
