This Teriyaki Tofu Is A Weekly Occasion In My Life

Bear in mind the tofu from the ramen bowls? I can’t cease making it. I shared this bowl combo on Instagram the opposite day and obtained numerous requests to write down up the recipe, which brings us to this second!
Currently what I’ve been doing is:
- Plating up some steamed jasmine rice
- Placing a scoop of that saucy, chewy tofu on it
- Including some steamed broccoli (or air fryer broccoli!)
- Dolloping all of it with a tangy, flippantly spicy kimchi mayo
- Ending it off with inexperienced onions and/or togarashi or some type of sesame-seedy sprinkle
When you do nothing else with this, simply make the teriyaki tofu. That shreddy tofu is so good. It will get coated and caramelized with a teriyaki sauce (store-bought, no prob) and laced with simply sufficient contemporary garlic to make your home scent like a restaurant, so, yeah, I’m fairly into it.
It’s a high-flavor, quick and simple dinner recipe, topped with a creamy-mouthfeel-kinda sauce, that’s conveniently additionally full of fiber and protein. I sound like a salesman proper now and if that’s my legacy for these teriyaki tofu bowls, so be it!
Hope you like this combo!
